Dining in Italy

Dining in Italy

October 8, 2013 by Darin Gibby

Sometimes, it’s a small world.  I found out that a German patent attorney I work with came to the US as a foreign exchange student in high school and was in my same district. He’d visited Sorrento serveral times and took us to some great restaurants. My favorite one was in Capri, on the far side of the island.  You can’t beat these views.

This trattoria in Naples had the best pizza and eggplant parmesan that I’ve tasted in a long time.  I really liked the murals on the walls and their decorations.  The homemade mozzrella balls weren’t too bad either.

Sorrento was dotted with small wine and food shops.  A local favorite is the lemon liquor they call limoncello.  They grow lemons everywhere and seem to put them in everything, including perfume.
